Bert Sugar knew everything there was to know about Kid Azteca. Non-boxing related things. Like what his dog's name was.
Nice to see you guys respecting JMM Hes a living legend, people usually downplay current guys The guy was already an ATG before he moved up from lightweight
Panama Al Brown, Ernesto Marcel, Ismael Laguna are good shouts. JMP will mention another. (Or two) Panama clings to him hardcore though. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qH6wI11zy2g&feature=youtube_gdata_player"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qH6wI11zy2g&feature=youtube_gdata_player[/ame]
for me it is marquez. chavez had some wins in which he actualy did not won in my yes. against pernell or meldrick, with this stupid ass ref counting him out, also he wasn't out and up to fight. I don't let me fool with chavez record, most of his fights were against journeymans with very bad records.
Pedroza and Zapata. Come to think of it, these Panamanian greats are such beautiful/unique stylists in the ring. Pedroza could be wildly dirty and I thought pretty ugly on occasion, but other times, I found him to be a very smooth boxer.
Napoles has Mexican citizenship, so therefore, I automatically put him at #1 (unless Duran has Mexican citizenship)
Very dirty. That's Drew101's favorite fighter whether he cares to admit it or not. Was about time for him and Sanchez to unify too.
JMM, is great. Of him, Marco Antonio Barrera and Eric Morales though, morales the best of the three. His top level was just that good.
