I hope Bute doesn't think like you. I know he wants the rematch and accepted to delay it only if it was sure to be held after. I would follow Bute much less if he'd take an easy route.

I think Pavlik would be better prep for Bute, to prepare for a Froch, though Abraham would possibly be a better move, as he has a SMW title, and would give Bute something to take to the table against Froch. A unification match.

I've mentioned Abraham , Pavlik, Pascal and Kessler which aren't easy fights , especially Pascal and Kessler fights. The first 2 may be some winnable fights but that's not a sure thing. After these fights he can rematch Froch to face his demons and avenge his loss.

Believe me that I was very eager at some point to see the rematch too but after I watched that fight ( Froch vs Bute ) several times I've changed my mind. That was a brutal beating and nothing similar to Andrade I fight were Bute gassed out in 11-12 rounds and he got overwhelmed by the situation.
So, don't get me wrong , Bute can rematch Froch but after Abraham/Pavlik and Pascal/Kessler fights.
    Money pay the bills.

IMO, Pavlik is a more winnable fight for Bute because he's more predictable. Abraham fights in spurts but he's wild and has decent power as well. Pavlik just comes forward and throws the 1-2.

yep This fight would be great but on a neutral ground , of course. Its a title on the line and Abraham has some decent achievements at smw category unlike Pavlik, who didn't prove anything at smw and besides he has some rust.

Only good think about a Pavlik match is the US exposure and thats all.

    Bute-Abraham sounds good.

Why should AA fight him on a neutral ground though ? If Bute wants to take him on, he'll have to travel to Allemania. :hat

Dont think that it would be on neutral ground. Both have shown a willingness to travel, but neither have done well in big fights when they do.
I agree that Pavlik hasnt done much at SMW. I dont think AA has done a great deal and think this era is at weak time. Though would agree AA has done more with the wins over Wilczewski and Steiglitz, though I thought Steiglitz slightly edged it on workrate.
I dont really know why Bute would need US exposure, everyone knows who he is, as the fighter Ward didnt seem to want to face, and overall there are more fights for him in Europe.
Pavlik hasnt done anything for a while now

It would create a big buzz if it happened at one of those venues

Because that wouldn't make any sense Flashy, hell I would prefer it to be in Canada then, Québec or Montréal as there's quite a huge armenian diaspora over there. :hat

Because it makes no sense financially !! Boxing isn't only about making the best fights possible but making the most money out of 'em as well. Neither fighter has any background in the cities you mentionned, you think they would draw some crowd ?

Would be great in Canada but theres not a neutral ground so I don't think Abraham would accept it. So N'Y would be reasonable cuz is not far from Montreal or somewhere in Europe like U.K for exemple (London or Manchester) .

I think a match between Abraham and Bute in N'Y would bring lots of canadian fans especially that they won't have to travel too much.

I'm sure that this fight would bring more spectators than Ward and Dirrell can dream to have at their fights. :yep
