Probably why he's such a good troll so, he's already had 4 lads bite.
He also knows his target audience, for some reason lads on this thread always fail to spot when someone is simply on the wind up.

Do people really believe that when people come into this thread saying 'Irish boxing is ****' or 'x isn't even Irish' that they really believe these things ?, take a step back lads and simply realise people love winding others up.

Can anybody tell me what happened to Davey Joe Joyce as regards the Euro under-23s? I noticed at the time that the only two absent weights were his and Sean Turner's. Found out then that Turner made the decision himself not to go, but saw it mentioned on FB today that "what happened with Joyce" was scandalous (or something to that extent). Anyone able to enlighten me? PM me if necessary....

Dont think he was old enough.Had to be 20/21 to box in the Euros where as you can box from 17/18 at the National Champs.Im like yourself could be wrong and Turner had WSB obligations.

I'd say he must be old enough. Shur he won a medal at the worlds in 2008 with Jamie Kavanagh, Ray Moylette and Tommy McCarthy. They're all 22/23 I think. So even if he's a year younger than them he was still probably old enough. Just saw some fella mentioned it was a disgrace or something. By the way, as far as I know the headgear is gone for the men in the Seniors this year
