Julio Cesar Chavez Jr says Sergio Martinez is 'afraid' of a rematch

Jr. Takes out Maravilla in the rematch setting up the III fight.

Chavez needs to find himself an angel and stop ****ing around with a joke coach and a fake S&C coach.

 

Did Martinez even need to be standing in front of Chavez Jr. in the 12th round?

Martinez didn't even need to be fighting at that point. How many of the previous 11 rounds had Chavez Jr. won? 1? None? Chavez Jr. got beaten for 11 rounds. All Martinez had to do was jab and evade for that last round.

Now, he didn't do that. He said after the fight that he wanted to "feel Chavez Jr.'s power," which was a mistake. But it wasn't any great skill of Chavez Jr.'s that made that happen. It was a stupid mistake by Martinez trying to be too gutsy.

If Chavez Jr. comes off suspension and goes to an appropriate weight class for his body (try light heavyweight) than I'll respect the little brat, but until then, he's just a big guy who's 20 pounds too heavy for his weight class who's picking on little guys.

And my word for a guy who does that is "coward."

 

A favor?

Martinez will make decent money and further enhance his legacy beating Murray in his homecoming in Argentina.

After that he's got the Quillin vs. Guerrero winner, Geale, Pirog, Golovkin...

Plenty of options. No, they won't bring quite the same PPV money as Chavez Jr. due to his large Mexican following - but it's hardly as though he's bereft of alternatives to make some dough against better middleweights.

 

I can guarantee you Martinez will never fight Pirog or Golovkin.

 

If Pirog gets back on American TV and Golovkin keeps building on his impressive debut against Proksa, why not?

 

Martinez has fear of Pirog.
Pirog offered than man 3 million a career high at the time and a fight in Moscow and Dibella and Sergio refused and opted to fight Barket/Macklin.

Only one man stood up to face White Chocolate and that was Golovkin, which I respect. Which lets me know that Dibella will most likely find a way not to fight him either.

 

Sounds like Chavez Jr has been learning from the Audley Harrison school of reality checks. ****ing numpty needs to shut up making out like he was anything other than dominated in the first fight, and should be grateful Martinez a) was stupid/ballsy enough to trade in the last round, and b) had his knees give out in order to gift Jr the KD in the first place. Assuming Martinez's knee holds out, and assuming he hasn't grown old overnight, any rematch would be more of the same: Jr having his face busted up.

Waste of time fight for sergio. So Mayweather needs to give Mosley a rematch because he did good in one round?? Go kill yourselves

 

Well it was a title unification and Pirog brought in the most money, why not fight in his home where they could get the most money for both parties involved?

Honestly in looking at fights in Russia, they seem more on the up and up than fights in Germany, UK, and some parts of the US.

Chavez doesnt deserve a rematch he lost 11 and a half rounds and with martinez obly having 3 fights left including the marray fight in april he should look to fight quillin and finish with ggg
