This man may as well have been put through a meat grinder. You don't want to **** with Vitali. You wouldn't like it when he's angry.

 

I do not need to read all posts in this thread to see if some of the posters would like to see Vitali been beaten by a British fighter. However, Vitali is still better than Fury (in fact, he is still much better) and personally I am convinced that Haye is not able to land something big on Vit. And to be very honest with you - I believe that Robert Helenius is able to beat both Haye and Fury as well...

I dont know how people can think about Fury beating Vitali. Give me a break. Vitali is still at 95% of his prime. I didnt see any significant decrease of his main skills. He boxed Charrs ears off, same with Arreola, Johnson, Briggs ans so on. He hardly lost two rounds nin his last 10 fights with age 38-41. Vitali an old man??? Maybe some desperate Brits hope so. Reality is that this "old man" still boxes the young mens ears off. I think Fury will be a game challenger but he will be lucky winning a single round vs. Vitali and he will never ever KO him. Vitali via 119-109.

 

I agree that Vit is still vastly superior to Fury. I don't think he's quick enough anymore to stop Haye landing. Whether Haye can crack that chin or not is another matter altogether.

 

I have real mixed feelings about this and a potential Haye fight. I think Haye would win against Vitali, and I think Fury could win. But should Vitali fight till he goes out on a loss? I'd want them to beat him but i'd also feel bad for a great champion going out on a loss to someone he would have beaten handily in his prime.

 

Fury has enough technical ability to beat Vitali at this stage. Both have poor footwork and can't throw proper punches, so that evens itself out. The advantage Fury has is in stamina and punch variety, whereas Vitali has the edge in chin and power.

It'd be an ugly fight which would make a technician like Primo Carnera roll in his grave.

 

He is a real fighter with a punch. Make no mistake - if he connects, the show is over...

The second one doesn't show a great deal. He knocked down an enormously fat Samuel Peter once he'd knackered himself out. Big deal.

Fury isn't ready to face either Klitschko. He still looks confused at times in the ring, and doesn't have the power to make up for his other shortcomings. He should forget about facing Vitali and take another year to hone up his skills for Wlad.

Fury wouldnt lay a glove on Vitali, not enough craft as yet. Truth is he needs time to develop and shouldnt face a Klitschko as by the time he is 'ready' they will be retired. If he is ever ready!

There is nothing wrong with the fact Fury wouldnt beat either yet. Nor is there if he never quite reaches thier level.
