im sure all that "teaching" will come in handy when he fights a legit 154 whos not moving up from ww, off consecutive losses or a tko loss.

    Comparing??, re read my post.

I merely pointed out a time where he flourished against a southpaw, to further add to the statement that canelo does well against Southpaws.

Where the **** did you get I was comparing :think

    okay

also Mr. Boxrec canelo has like 4-5 brothers in boxing what makes you think they were talking about that one specific brother as he didn't state which brother...

Good point. Very true. Rhodes was also a LEGIT 154 pound guy. Maybe not the quality of Trout but Canelo was also only 20-21 yrs old.

He has more than one brother. Not sure which one he was talking about but these are his words, not mine. He has said this before several times. That's how his upbringing was. He claims he feels more comfortable vs Southpaws. They don;t bother him.

He has already fought LEGIT 154 pound guys. The question is whether they were QUALITY opponents (probably not). Rhodes, Cintron and Mosley can all be considered legit jr middleweights in this era. Problem was that two of the 3, were not in their prime. Let's also not forget that Canelo was only 20-21 yrs of age. So he gets half credit from me.

I'm not here to slam Canelo but Mosley and Cintron are NOT legit JMWs...past prime or not.

WTF? Cintron basically started at Welter. He then moved up ONCE to Jr Middleweight. The guy is 5'11". Not sure what you're talking about. Mosley, I might understand but he had several fights in that division, including wins vs De La Hoya and Vargas. If neither of them are legit, I guess Canelo isn't either. Let's not forget that Canelo is not tall in stature. He is a stocky guy but it will eventually get tougher as he moves up in weight dealing with bigger/taller guys.

I think he's referring to this night of welterweights thing.

As for Canelo-Trout, I think Canelo beats him up.
