Tito did all of Oscars dirty work

KO Oba Carr for him first

KO Vargas for him and ruined him so Oscar could actually beat Nando

KO Mayorga so Oscar could make another 80 million on Paq and Floyd and Forbes

Oscar beat a lot if Tito left overs

Oscar should pay Tito for looking out

People say Tito would KO Martinez, but Mayweather would win a wide UD?

    LOL.

People on this board are too much.

Martinez has the foot movement, southpaw style, size, and precision power punching that would give Tito nightmares.

Let's contrast to Floyd. Floyd has great defense, but he's relatively stationary, similiar to an old Whitaker.

How would Floyd survive against the ropes? This isn't a big guy like Winky or Hopkins, it's a small welterweight that moves much less than he did at lower weights.

My point is, it's a much bigger stretch to assume the small, relatively stationary Mayweather wins against Tito than the bigger, constantly moving, southpaw power puncher.

    Let's be realistic.

I'd say Tito can catch him. Martinez sometimes has his lead foot pointed too far on the inside and when he's moving laterally can walk into a punch off-balance. The Chavez KD wasn't the first time Martinez goes down like that. Martinez can win on mobility but Tito was such a capable textbook boxer-puncher that I have to favor him to start finding his mark more frequently as the fight goes on.

    I disagree.

First of all, Martinez was caught with a looping right hand that came from a significantly larger fighter than him as he was coming up out of a rotation.

Tito is not known for his right hand, while Chavez seems to have a good one, and utilized it effectively against Lee as well.

Tito will get weakened as the fight goes on because Martinez' body attack will take its toll.

Tito is wide open for those left straights to the body, and he's too brave for his own good.

Martinez slows him down with a body attack and stops him late.

Tito won't be able to land anything signficant enough to slow Martinez down early in the fight, and his power is enough to make Tito hesitant unless Tito is begging to get knocked out.

His southpaw style, movement, and body attack is all wrong for Tito.

How can you think Mayweather can beat him easily when Mayweather is comparatively undersized, and doesn't have the same type of movement?

When is the last time Mayweather fought a tall boxer puncher with power?

I don't think Mosley fits that description.

If Tito was a smart counterpuncher, he would have a better chance, but even then, he would be undersized.

And it's not like Tito is Pavlik, a huge middleweight with a solid right hand.

    I don't see it.

I'm not saying Tito is overrated, but styles make fights.

Do people not realize how hittable Martinez can be?....whether it was against Williams 1,Pavlik and Chavez JR in the last round. Tito has hella problems in this fight but his power and determination would bail him out.

Mayorga, Carr, Campas, Camacho? Really? No one even gives a **** about those guys on Oscar's resume. They were all tune ups pretty much, and its hilarious because those guys are seen as Trinidad's top wins

Oh wait, don't forget Blocker and Lueshing. :hi:

Y'all have to absolutely be kidding me. There is no need to even break this fight down in any complicated way. Trinidad was an amazingly accurate fighter. Regardless of him losing rounds against Martinez, he ultimately knocks Martinez ass out the second he connects. Y'all are silly and do NOT remember Trinidad's punching power at 154.

Martinez has fought WHO? He beat PW and Pavlik and Chavez? PW is a wild offensive fighter who is anaverage puncher (who floored Martinez). If Martinez thinks Pavlik hits hard, he'd be put in a different dimension by 154lb Trinidad @ Jr Middleweight. Lets not get started on the 1D Chavez who is a little ***** and decided to NOT fight for 12 rounds. I'm not downgrading Chavez power, but lets just say this, when Chavez hit Martinez, Martinez was on ***** street.

Half of the boxing community online is ass backwards with Trinidad. No one remembers his superb accuracy, his elite punching power, his elite stamina, his legitimate height at just about 6 feet tall. Martinez turns ***** when he runs into Trinidad's right hand, and bites the dust with the left hook.

Oh and since when has Martinez been as good as Winky and Hopkins? Since when has Martinez ever fought with a high guard like Winky? And also let me know since when has Martinez had Winky Wrights iron chin? Martinez can't carry Hopkins jock strap. Get outta here fools.

Its hilarious how a guy like Martinez is seemingly viewed as the second coming of Pernell Whitaker.

Yeah because Vargas, Chavez, Ruelas, Hernandez, Quartey, Whitaker weren't big fights for Oscar right?
