It's a tough pick, this one as they both seem evenly matched across thebboard. Both have the ability to look fantastic and average in equal doses. However I think Brook realises that this may well be his only shot, whereas Alexander is a half name and can try again. I have kell pulling out a close one 115-113 or some such
What makes your poll official? Because you said it is? As for the fight, my gut says that the occasion will get to Kell and he'll choke/under perform. He'll have his moments though.
Im with Bill on this.....Brook will probably have to half kill Alexander to get the nod. The decision will expose the hole in Hearns master plan of going the mando route and not taking on Tim Bradley....It has to be better getting jobbed in front of a decent sized audience rather than jobbed when only the tumbleweed is watching
not sure if Alexander will get his third robbery in a couple of years, especially against a brit, it'd be a bit too high profile, know what i mean.
Also not in St Louis, and Kotelnik and Matthysse were not as well protected as I guess Brooks is. He's more of a cash cow. If Brook is robbed there will probably be waves. AK and LMs robberies barely caused a ripple outside the boxing press.
very tough too call devon may have got a few gifts but he has fought most the big names around kell has fought .. er hatton and carson jones - i think kell lack of quality experience will count against him
I think Alexander has a bigger following than Bradley & sells more tickets, plus Brook is making more $ vs Alexander & there arent any options if he wins. Bradley would be a much tougher fight style-wise for Brook as well, Alexander is a more friendly match-up.
I have only seen Alexander once so I'm not too sure yet. I will cast my vote when I have seen how he handled Matthysse I've been meaning to watch the fight for a while, today seems like a good day
Well I just watched the Matthysse Alexander fight and I don't know how some people called it a robbery. Make no mistake Alexander is a very smart fighter. Kell does have a chance but if I was a betting man my money would be on the yank
