And speaking of Sosa, a now overlooked Cotto gem is his destruction of Sosa.....

ya I hear mostly people criticize that fight, but I thought he looked pretty good. I think he looked like he injured his right hand based off his over reliance on his left and need to throw quadruple hooks in the later rounds

Shane Mosley vs Shannon Taylor- till this day remains my all time favorite Mosley performance, he looked like the perfect fighter in that bout.

Terry Norris vs Carl Daniels- Terry's display of combination punching in this fight was classic and had Daniels planking at the end of the fight

Felix Trinidad vs Kevin Lueshing- Classic Tito, get knocked down by a left hook and then knocks out his opponent in the next round I believe

He had an absolute nightmare getting his title shot in the first place. No one wanted him and I was always surprised he didn't have a bigger impact.

Apart from the fact I love watching Cotto at 140,it's always funny to see him with a fuzzy barnet.

    Good thread this :good

Bowe vs Cooper. A young Riddick takes out the erratic but always exciting Cooper in 2 rounds. After a competitive 1st round with Cooper spending most of the time on Bowe's chest, Futch gives Bowe a stern talking to & gets him to create more distance & use his jab. 2nd round is a demolition job with Bowe landing a cracking combination to finish things just as the bell rings.

Holyfield vs De Leon. Holy's finest performance imo, at his absolute physical peak & he is just relentlessly aggressive. DeLeon is tough & crafty but takes a sustained beating for 8 rounds until its finally stopped.

McCallum vs Kalule. Mike's 1st major name opponent, though Kalule was past his best Mike looks awesome. Brutal combinations & a one sided blow-out but a very good watch.

Julio Cesar Chavez vs Jose Luis Ramirez

Julio displaying some excellent lateral movement, and his counter punching and right hand leads are just brilliant in this fight. More specifically that right hand counter he lands and drops JLR with, while backing up against the ropes. :good

I enjoyed Tito's fight against a then-undefeated Oba Carr. Tito was going through his strange period of always getting knocked down in the second round but, after a patient start, boxed himself back into the fight very nicely.

In his younger days, I think he was a more well-rounded fighter before he fell in love with his power. He used his jab and body-punching to great effect before coming upstairs with that huge power, hurting Carr repeatedly and putting him away.

There are certain guys like Whitaker or Chavez who I can enjoy watching against anyone. I have both their career sets and can happily watch them do their thing no matter who the opponent.

I enjoy most of Rafa's bantamweight reign, from early on where he was a little raw and right-hand happy, to both Mabuza contests where he was the well-rounded boxer-puncher (maybe puncher-boxer would be more accurate) that Nacho moulded him into.

Mayweather/Corley- Floyd in the pocket with both hands moving.
Roy Jones/Richard Hall-An incredibly one sided beating.

I just watched that fight recently Mo.Mike's work rate in those early days was phenomenal. As I mentioned earlier,Kalule looked like a light heavy at times, and I always felt he should've achieved just a little bit more.Something has always intrigued me about him.

I love that performance Addie.MAB throws some beautiful uppercuts and his accuracy is superb throughout.

It was this thread that lead me to appreciate Rafa far more than I did previously Henke. There's a very apparent upturn in his style as you've mentioned.
