185lbs was his optimum.

You know how boxers today are with modern stuff, and we know how past boxers were with past stuff.
That's the only comparison we can make that comes close to objective.

You can't say, if Marciano was x then y because x never was.

 

Then it doesn't matter when Rocky is born, his height isn't going to change. It's all on genes. And Rocky is 5'11 on a good day and weighed 185. Never cutting, that was his weight.

He'd be fighting at LHW... today. He'd be cutting to that weight, if not even to 168 with nutrition today.

He wouldn't be going up, he'd be going down.

they might bulk up a bit more because they only have to fight for 12 rather than 15.

I'd be exceptionally surprised if anyone entered a hw title fight today weighing less than 200 pounds regardless of their natural weight.

 

also women boxers 2 have u seen anne wolfe or vonda ward they are 6 foot + and around 180+ too what do you think about women's chances vs. men in a few years women are getting bigger every year

i mean u take a tough 6 foot woman like anne wolfe or vonda ward w/ today's nutrition and women's rights do u think she could potential hold her own & even bully a little great giant like bob foster or dempsey or even marciano as they approach the same height i fam fascinated by this recently and have been researching women today are bigger, tougher and they want it all why not boxing

 

Chavez Jr, can weightdrain 20-30 lbs and fight at middleweight.

i hope women get taller and taller I would like 2 see it 4 equality sake now I know what u guys r thinking - ur thinking I'm positively mad BUT i love women and I want 2 see them happy and I feel if they are equal they won't be so cranky around us most times - my woman has hit me with 2 cast iron pots, 1 time a rolling pin, tongs which didn't hurt that bad, a wooden cutting board and a metal strainer which actually hurt the worst - she think every thing in teh kitchen is a weapon - but honestly I think that if women get as big and strong as man and make as much money they will b happier and want 2 make love more and treat me nicer and treat all men nicer - boxing should b a part 2 they should do interracial boxing or I mean inter man-woman boxing is what I mean
