    ...what is the point of this thread? And why only Ward, Froch, Kessler and Calzaghe? Why not Eubank, Benn, Toney, Jones, Ottke, etc?

    Nah, but it was a great accomplishment and Calzaghe was originallly a SMW boxer. I actually think his fight against Hopkins should have been a draw.

    The purpose of this thread is to fully determine which fights that were the best accomplishments for the different SMW champs. Arthur Abraham, Lucian Bute, etc. are also very welcome and Bernard Hopkins should also be added, just because he kinda got some ties to SMW history due to his wins against Jean Pascal, Kelly Pavlik, etc.

    Kessler won.. Most people who watched and scored the fight had it 116-112 or 115-113 in favor of Kessler

    I'm Danish. Watch again. In the first 6-7 rounds, Froch had a clear advantage. It got more even after that and Kessler clearly won round 12. I always thought Kessler won, but after rewatching, I had to consider it a draw.

    No. Kessler won most of the first rounds (and the fight) because of good body work. Froch won round 12. Watch it again.

    Calzaghe had better wins that Sakio Bika... Richie Woodhall, Charles Brewer, Byron Mitchell....
