Well done to all those who acted like immature little brats and slagged him off.

I didn't want a a former british world heavy weight champion posting here anyway....

To be fair he's only ever posted here 3 times and all 3 have been to tell people about a seperate meet and greet.

If I was a fan I'd rather speak to him via a boxing forum like ESB, rather than the odd meet and greet with the additional chance to purchase his new video game early.

I have no doubt whatsoever that those words came out of his mouth, whether its true or happens is an entirely different question....

Is it any wonder he's only posted 3 times with the reception he gets?

To be honest I think he should expect criticism, the way he acts and what he says/has said he's only putting himself in the firing line if he doesn't deliver.

If I was a boxer I wouldn't post in this forum with these imbeciles around. I was at the sigining last september, u do not have to buy anything, u will get a signed photo from him (there are stuff to buy like gloves/book/magazine/clothing if u want). Bring your own camera for photo with him & bring boxing gloves/his book/magazine if you want him to sign them.

Why give him grief really? what's the ****ing point?

Is he the first fighter in history who sells his fights by talking himself up? No.

What's the big deal? People just attack him personally for whatever reason, I don't understand it.

Personally, I'd love it if loads of high profile british boxers posted here, let's be honest, we all would.

Never gonna happen though, this thread is proof.

Look how much grief Bellew got over supposedly getting knocked down in sparring? and what's he done wrong? He comes across like a thoroughly sound bloke on here.

Its never criticism, its always abuse. There have been a whole host of fighters and trainers who have posted here in the past but over time have ****ed off because of the level of **** that has been thrown at them. Of course, Id much rather listen to a fifteen year old know nothing spouting drivel than a seasoned trainer or pro fighter

Chill out man, if you post on the forums, whether you are a fighter, promoter, manager..? You should be able to deal with the critics, critics are real! Life is real man.

Chill out man, thought you was some hard man from east-end of London.

    Well said. :deal

Nice to see some decent posters standing up to the folks lambasting, David Haye, for this nice gesture. You have young kids standing and waiting outside football training grounds up and down the country desperate for an autograph from their favourite players, and the footballers just drive past as if they were non-existent. People need to give credit where itÂ’s due, he's a former world champion and comes across as a decent guy. Commend David for taking time out of his schedule to meet up with his fans.
