I'd be shocked if Guerrero landed clean as often as Ortiz did. Which wasn't a whole lot, but I don't see Guerrero doing well unless Floyd has really slipped.

Yes, but that's not inherently bad. It's inherently unavoidable if you're as good as Floyd and you want to keep making fights with guys your size.

Clean? When did Ortiz do that? You won't need more than one hand to count. :D

Which middles do you think he might be favored over? :think That's actually piquing my interest, thinking about it...

BTW, aren't you one of those who claimed Khan could beat him or am I selling you short and mixing you up with another (more fanatical) member of the Khan army? :yep

Not many but he made them count for something. I doubt Guerrero even makes him uncomfortable.

I've got to be honest, I do think it is a mismatch.

Having said that, Guerrero is as good a fight as there is for Mayweather. I don't think Robert was the fighter of the year last year, but he damn sure established himself as the best welter outside of Bradley and (the now retired?) Marquez.

Think about this, the only non-mismatch for Floyd right now, is The Ring Middleweight champion Sergio Martinez. Lara and Alvarez wouldn't be total mismatches, they would be pretty competitive, but Floyd would still be substantially favored over those two.

Nothing clean about the first one, it landed on the glove.

There was 1-2 clean punches on the second gif image.

May looks to be in his comfort zone all throughout in those. :conf

Awkwardness is more likely to annoy him than misdirected power that only ever grazes him.

,,,and Guerrero's got that in spades. :deal

Any other fight in those moments would be said to have been pressed, at least. Floyd is secure but not comfortable, just IMO.

You think Guerrero's that awkward? I actually see him as a flat textbook fighter. He's really awkward and dirty on the inside, but on the outside, he seems really conventional. And I don't see Guerrero offering anything at close range Floyd can't solve with his guard.

We talking Ishida levels or actual top 10. :think  Maybe a Matthew Macklin, someone who's not much taller with same/similar reach so Floyd can do his pot shot thing and try not to absorb much damage?

 I like Khan, but no I don't think he could beat Floyd... Far more of a Floyd supporter than Khan. :yep Khan did the right thing by leaving Roach to learn more, because I don't think Roach can/will teach him what he needs to be more successful.
