All that Trout Arrested jive got put to rest with no charges put on Trout. So no excuses can be used there.

I really do hope and have my fingers crossed that Canelo can finally get a fight in which he can get full credit for fighting a prime 154 lber. Trout will be a very good fight for Canelo.

Except Trout has an above average chance of beating Canelo, so he's automatically out.

Why on earth would he rule out Trout?

It's the best money & legacy option available (high risk but commensurate reward) with Mayweather having chosen Guerrero.

  4. canelo's very young. i like the way they re managing his career. the kid has time. no need to fight dangerous opponents just yet. im serious.

^They (GBP) can afford to throw him a bone he might choke on.
IMO Alvarez has more than enough to get passed Trout, But I ain't the one losing money if he don't win. So it's easy for me to say.

Ahh I see. I didn't realise makes me wonder why he didn't take the fight with Dawson at 175 if not at a catch weight.

Can yellow won his junior middleweight title off of an unranked welterweight ! Then defended against junior welterweights , who moved up and. Against a washed up Cintron coming off of a loss ! Can yellow is a hype job who will keep fighting easy smaller opponants as long as the fans will buy it ! When he faces a legitimate threat , I think he will be shown for an overrated hype job ! Look
    For Can
Yellow to call out Andre Berto
    At junior middleweight !

They can't take any risks of losing or looking bad against a boxer like Trout or Lara when he's asking for a Floyd showdown in sept.
Angulo fits the profile; slow and easy to hit,a GBP fighter and Mexican to celebrate 5 de mayo.

Canelo is saying what he needs to, but in the end, will fight GBP first choice. Just like anybody else who is 'brave enough' to talk trash knowing others will hold him back preventing the scuffle. So, yeah, GBP IS holding him back cuz they got his back.

If he fights Trout, i will not criticize him again, win/lose or draw

Anything involving Canelo, Mayweather, Cotto, Trout and Guerrero is where the fights are at.

Hell, i would be content with Canelo vs K9 but that's the last option

*please no Angulo, Kirkland or Vanes ffs

  13. the kid's 22 years old. fighting dudes like cintron, mosley and baldomir is perfect. he can start fighting dangerous fighters when he's 25.

I think i've learned that in boxing when an opponent is "not being ruled out", he's definitely ruled out.
