The only American HW prospect that is worth paying any attention to is Bryant Jennings, the rest are not worth the time.
Maybe a bit too harsh - but generally agree. He is a big modern HW with a heavy right hand. Question is why has his comp been so low? Don't understand the constant, incorrect whining :| about this eras HWs being so poor - even from some fans I agree with on other issues. Is this mostly from US fans having their undies bunched up their ass over the current dominance by East Euros? :-( If/when an American wins a belt, then other fans will say that fighter beat an old champ or this is a weak era. More than one side can play that 'tude :bart
Wilder has incredible skills, and of course 1-punch KO power in both hands. Sadly, many ESB kiddies can't see this since all they notice is his lousy competition. It remains to be seen if Wilder has the heart to deal with an aggressive, top-10 opponent, but to say he has no skills is the definition of stupidity. Wilder will either become a champ or a chump. We should find out pretty soon.
Heavyweight division division is dead. Let's see how Wilder deals with some Top 15 guys... If he stop KO'ing them then he is nothing special.
I rate Bryant Jennings higher plus he comes across as a decent humble guy unlike Wilder who comes across as a smug arrogant twat, which would be fair enough if he was beating the best but he is clearly not.
wlad said hes the best sparring partner he ever had. ima take his word for it. i just wanna see this kid succeed. hes a special kid
if only he was british, he would be a favorite at ESB with that said, i'm only a little excited about Wilder. he needs to step it up
