As we know, this coming May he is trying to fight the number one pound for pound fighter in the world, but is planning for a Plan B in case the fight is not agreed to by Mayweather. His original Plan B even included Miguel Cotto, the version that had just given Mayweather his toughest fight in years. Now he has stated that he will pursue the fighter who beat Cotto as his Plan B in Austin Trout. To me, I think that Alvarez is serious about chasing the biggest names in boxing and for this I respect him.
