:yep he always gets like that. I like his passion for the sport though and I rarely disagree with him on things. Though he went overboard imo tonight

Atlas was way overboard tonight. I think it makes the sport look worse when he fires off like a mad man.

Yeah that's what I thought. What the hell is with Teddy? He needs medication.
I only saw the last 3 rounds but was the fight not close?

Exactly. I was embarrassed. He acted like it was Lewis-Holyfield or Briggs-Foreman

I thought it was cool that he told those judges who robbed Ussame who should be up by two rounds. It was close fight but there was a clear winner. Who knows maybe the judges doesn't like afghstians.

You got the undercard who Gonazle was outworking the slick guy and the slick got loss by ud and then you have a main event of the exact thing and USS loses even though he outworked bart.

When he said that, at a certain point, it can't just be incompetence, he was alluding to the fact that the Cuban American got the bad decision against the Canadian in Miami. Once again, the bad decision favors the promoter. If the "mistakes" of the judges always go the same way, at some point you can't believe they are mistakes.

If you are a fan of the sport, why would you object to crooked judges being called out? It's one of the main things that keeps fans and money out of the sport, and it ****s with the money and lives of the athletes. My hat is off to Teddy for putting it in the bluntest terms possible.

Haven't seen the fight but even though Teddy is sometimes a little bit .......emotional he really likes the sport and I don't doubt that there was a reason to be angered. Bad decision are horrible and happen too often for it to be a simple "mistake" by the judges

These judges get chosen and paid in part by a promoter.

In their minds......if they disappoint the promoter, they'll not be getting their names called for the next fight. It's clearly motivation by money, and that is where the boxing commissions need to start.

Find the parallels between bad decisions and ref's/judges being called back by certain promoters.:think

Exactly. From what I understand, if they travel, the promoters pay their airfare, put them up in hotels and even give them money for expenses. In other words, a free vacation, all expenses paid. If you had that gig, would you want to **** of your boss?

Which is why a pool should be established in which all money for judging and officiating is paid at a set rate, travel expenses/per diem set depending on where a judge/ref is traveling and for how long.

The promoters could give the commission a list of say 10 and then from the ten, the commission could randomly select 3 judges, a ref, and an alternate.

No more of this Julie Lederman getting 50K to judge a big fight just because she's Harolds daughter BS.

This is the **** that's always killed the sport for the casual fans and kept those casuals from becoming hardcore.:-(
