Wouldn't that be lovely. In contrast to here, where you have to argue with people that the world isn't flat and that their mate Roger doesn't actually know everything in the world.

I don't know if it's an education thing, because boxing has always been kind of a lower socioeconomic sport, but 90% of posters on this site pull things out of their arse and disregard anything scientific because it's not old school, or they don't understand it.

The bodybuilding.com forums are far more scientific, and well-informed, as most forums are. Unfortunately, there's next to no boxing discussion there. As a boxing fan, I'm always magnetically drawn back here, and routinely disappointed by the litany of crap posts.

I've seen some fantastic roundtables on bodybuilding.com and there was one in particular on Facebook that included Eric Helms & Alan Aragon (they're releasing some peer-reviewed material together soon, actually). Eric Helms' ability to cite literature from the top of his head, especially when it comes to protein is just ridiculous.

Nothing wrong with posting studys for the right reason but everyone just wants the 1 up here, its sad really because you all think you know it all but the fact is after 10 sec pc is done for the round and easily over 90% of the ATP used for the round and the remainder of the bout will be supplied by the glyclotic and aerobic systems this is basic gym instructor **** and if you dont know that then your attempts at being gym guru's are laughable. Its basic ymca gym instructor bull**** lol

Hammer down the creatine stop running for glyclotic or vo2max and you will see faster richer results im sure.

Like i said i never said it did nothing its just the cp system adds so very little to the total atp created during boxing and the loading does very little to boost cp stores so for me a boxer wouldnt want to spend money onit as much as say a shot putter would. Just eat balanced meals and do hiit which is good for vo2max and glyclotic and long distance for vo2max specific.

Everyone is acting like cp will be the primary energy system used during boxing which is total **** anyone who wants to believe that then think what you want but i know its wrong and thats what i said in my initial post so post studys and claim youve proved what i said was wrong but your only posting falecy's

95% of supps are bs and unnecessary anyway :good

Creatine, however, has a very strong evidence base.

That's utter ****ing bull****; I don't think I 'know it all' at all. If I did, I wouldn't spend hours EVERY SINGLE DAY trying to further my knowledge, nor would I of expressed my desire for more science-orientated discussions around here, because NOBODY knows it all in any given area, period.

The only studies I've actually referenced in this thread relate to the water-retentitive effects of creatine...

Nobody has said that the PCr system is the primary system used during boxing you ******, I already said that anaerobic glycolytic is the main energy pathway for boxing. Long distance isn't vo2max specific either you numpty, tempo and intervals are far more 'vo2max' specific, whatever that means. Vo2 max isn't an energy system either, maybe you mean aerobic? Those studies are false? Okay then buddy, you take care now.

No but long distance runs at vo2max would be the opposite of hiit idiot, your just copying what others say anyway you dont know **** your a well known troll youve proved that with your statement about cp systems being used for uphill n spurts in marathons lol your obviously just trying to blend in with those of us that do hqve some knowledge of energy systems

I used creatin for 2 week. First I didnt feel anything , everything was same. But after a few days after trainings was little chillin and again feeling very strong. didnt say my coach and he saw me when I drink, forbade me to drink. For 1 week felt very sluggish, I wanted to sleep in trainings.
