Carl is clearly ducking Bute.He knows Lucian is popular with the IBF and they will want a fight between them.

This really.. I used to root against until he fought Abraham.
I still have to root for Kessler if this fight happens though

That's why I don't understand why Lucian's pricing himself out of a contractually agreed rematch.:huh

It's not like he has no chance of winning.:nono

Where did you learn about Bute wanting 500K?

Is that for lettint Froch face Kessler or Stevenson?

Anyone knows Edwin Rodriguez enough to know if he'll accept to fight Stevenson for the belt if Froch drops it?

If Rodriguez says no, Bute is the next one on the list. Bute-Stevenson, a local fight, for the belt. People would go crazy here.

I don't know why Froch didn't ask for the derogation (Yvon Michel says Hearn didn't fill the form in time) to face Kessler. I know Bute accepted to delay the rematch for a Kessler fight but not for a Stevenson fight. That being said, I don't know why it would bother Bute...

This is a real mess, which should be settled in a couple of weeks.

Sorry but the fight wasn't close at all. Froch outboxed Bute before he started doing serious damage. Bute is a very good fighter, who I think would do a lot better against Ward than Kessler or Froch did, but Froch is all wrong for Bute, I see no way for Bute to beat him.

A Kesler-Pavlik fight is probably the last one I see happening.

Pavlik never went abroadI can't see Pavlik going to Europe. Sauerland won't let Kessler go to USA.
If I was Pavlik's promoter, I would make him face Bute, which is more winnable for Pavlik than a Kessler's fight. In their head of course.

Good on Froch, dumping his trinket to agenge a loss against a top rated fighter. Right on.

Same here, but someone claiming a little inside knowledge said the fight was in negotiations for Atlantic City. I've already said I'd be shocked if it happened.
