    "back in my day..."

Yeah, great. Everything was better in your day, but somehow we all managed to become weak and stupid since then. God, how is that possible?

Ward would be campaigning at 175.

    Spinks, Qawi, Eddie M., etc..

So it'd be much tougher but I think he can still get some wins.

I hate that phrase "it was better in my day" surely were better now as civilisation has advancedcalong with technique/skills/training if nothing else we steal from the best nd develop it!!

Easy to say mayweather would lose to Duran, hagler and hearns but Floyd has never been fully tested so you just don't know, he could smash all of them for all we know. (I'm being open minded before the mutters mass)

He's right. Both he and Curry beat Mayweather and the guys at light heavyweight from that era would beat the hell out of Ward.

Does Starling say that if Floyd fought him "He'd look like a wild ***** swinging a hand-bag"?

could you imagine tommy hearns or sugar leonard being givin props for fighting guys like chavez, camacho, bazooka limon or rosario back when they were undefeated welterweight champions? maybe you can, but at least those guys were elite at their super featherweight or lightweight divisions. Fighting guys like Robert Guerrero have been the reason why floyd still has his "O" .

the guys were better in the 1980s, but Mayweather would still do ok with Starling.

What on earth are you talking about. Go look at what divisions Hearns and Hagler started at and go look at what division mayweather started at and get back to me.

Also go tell me what level either of those guys were fighting at when they were 36/37 years old like floyd is. I am waiting.
