Saiko Bika vs Nikola Sjekloca - WBC Interim Super middleweight title

Something is wrong. As I said there's no such thing within WBC as interim world title. Silver super middy titlist James De Gale is scheduled to defend in UK on Jan 26.
I suspect Bika's fight is probably for WBC Interim Continental Americas or WBC United States ****.

Can't access WBC site atm to get a clearer pic. Mother Suli has shut the door to do a bit of house cleaning

That was yonks ago. WBC ditched 'interim" in the last 12 months & replaced it with Silver around the time it introduced Diamond belt And how the hell could I forget “Champion in Recess”

FYI, I've been Boxrec's editor for 10 years & am quite familiar with governing bodies & their numerous titles.

 

Depends which side your on Kel but give me 12 rounds of Gav v Bronner over 12 rounds of Bika head butting every day of the week and twice on Sundays , Bronner is being hyped up to no end , sure he is a decent talent but Rees ain't no Cool Willie .

 

If WBC & WBA introduces another title Boxrec will need to upgrade its server. ATM, there's more titles around the globe than farkin boxers

Not familiar enough it seems. At light welterweight the WBC have the following current champions:

1. Danny garcia - full WBC champion
2. Lucas Matthyse - interim champion
3. Amir khan - silver champion

After the bika fight the WBC will have the same situation at super middleweight with Ward, bika and degale.

 

IMO, entries in Boxrec are incorrect, but ain't gonna do anything 'til I can access WBC's ratings (English)
Never forget, no matter if regular, silver, interim or whatever **** title governing bodies come up with, they rarely get a chance to challenge 'the' title, unless major promoters (of sorts) & TV networks see value in it.

 

Your wrong mate. The WBC still have interim titles. Silver title is another one of the WBC sanctioning grab tactics. Much like the diamond belt.

 

It's unfortunate I ditched WBC's presser relating to Silver title. On receipt of presser I requested confirmation, given Silver replaced Interim, whether 'vacant' applied to the title ('cos there is no such thing as vacant interim title in any organisation) Needless to say I didn't get a reply.
However, since then WBC might've changed it's tune....sanction $ is a $....Come in suckers

 

Is Sjekloca really a gypsy? I have never read or heard him to be one other than from yourself.
