That's not the cops fault though, that's actually lawyers...

No certain criminals are protected by corrupt police.

Ok, but that's a small minority.
Lawyers getting crims off because of $$ is rampant.

It's lawyers job to look for loopholes in coppas evidence & the best outcome for client. Its coppas job to make sure their evidence is nice, tidy & tight.

Hopefully it is now but in the 80's and 90's it was rampant. I guess from reading alot of books on it then I guess I figured it's the same today.

He is lucky he didn't spit in a coppers face here as his career would have been ended there and then , hate thee punk kids who think they are the dogs bollocks after achieving absolutely **** all . Send him to the big house for 18 months and see how he cracks on in there .

Logged onto ESB today and front page, "Super Hooper urges Australians to get "behind him""... Dickhead.

Police aren't lawyers da voice, they compile evidence, their lawyers make the case, it's their job to make sure it's a open/shut case, not the polices.

TC, spitting on someone isn't a big deal? You kidding? If someone spat in your face would you shrug that off? I bloody well wouldn't.

I'm well aware of the system. Just keeping things simple.

Probably lucky it was a cops face he spat in. Go deal with someone else simply doing their job, a tradie for example, walk up to them and spit in their face and see how it all goes down.

Unfortunately that would probably only make Hooper worse, far from being a deterrent, the jails in Queensland are full of Indigenous Australians, around 60% of the total prison population. To make it worse the Hooper extended family is one of the major families in the southern Queensland prisons, it would probably be something of a right to manhood for him.

I'm a big fan of his boxing and there is no doubt of his talent, but if at some stage he doesn't mature and pull his head in then we will probably be discussing him in some greatest wasted talents thread, unfortunate but true.

Yea your right Mel he's only young maybe he should get another all expenses trip up here to the UK as a reward for his actions ( that's the way you bleeding hearts normally go about things these days ain't it ). Maybe if your lucky he will flash you his chopper when you are at the airport wishing him a good trip aye ?
