It's popularity is rightfully declining, along with it's self respect, validity and knowlege.

I find fewer and fewer boxing magazines on the newstand racks. The quality is going down but fewer people are reading period or if they are they are going online.

I used to like it but in the last 5 years it has gone dramatically downhill.

I no longer consider the ring belt any higher than the Alphabet straps

I don't consider the belt more prestigious than say the who, ibf etc.

It's still the best mag available to buy though.

In the 21st century people still buy magazines? How quaint.

Seriously The Ring magazine has been on the wane for around 10 years now. The internet and the rise of blogs and youtube channels have put paid to that.

It'll be at airport news shops, but of all the times I've looked in bookstores over the past couple years, never.

Not that commonly found in the US anymore.

Overpriced and with the internet available their articles always seem to be about a couple of months behind what you already know.

    This.

They are very inefficient at keeping up with news.

Articles are always way out of date, and often times, news has broke about a fight being signed/cancelled/etc. which makes the articles themselves entirely pointless. And the summaries of fights are from fights about 2 months before the month of release.

Magazines in general are doomed, imo. A boxing magazine even more. There's internet for a reason.
