GGG should go in there at a silly pace in the first round.. get right into the action and demotivate him make him think "**** I'm ****ed"

How does GGG fight? Counterpuncher? Boxer puncher?

Unless I'm skipping over it, nothing in that article says he actually bet on himself?

    at the bottom.

"Some think he may have bitten off more than he can chew, but that’s Gabriel Rosado.

    He’s betting everything on himself.

“I saw that this opportunity was about my legacy,” Rosado said. “I saw that this is where it all starts. Becoming the middleweight champion against a guy who everyone considers the next big thing. The bigger the lights, the better. Madison Square Garden? The moment’s not going to get to me. I’m going to seize the moment. Pretty much everything we’ve been through has prepared us for this. So we’re going to be ready.”"

I perused the article and didn't see this. First, his purse isn't all his to bet anyhow. Well, that pretty much covers it. :D

    Show me the bet slip/s.

The craziest thing isn't the bet, (if it really exists) but the decision to have no catchweight against Golovkin.

Jeez, you gotta' love this guy!

Now that I read the article, it sounds like a metaphorical bet. He's taking a big risk in an attempt to gain greatness rather than fight the safer title fight down in his normal weight class. I don't think the bet is financial.

Jesus Christ. It doesn't say he made the bet. And moreover no book would risk 3 million on a relatively minor boxing match. It is not even possible to make the bet.

All that hard work going into a fight may amount to nothing. I wonder if he knows how it feels to possible have nothing after the fight? Maybe a 5K bet would still yield a good reward/bonus for himself.

Just a rumour if you ask me. I don't believe it.
