Don't say it's not competetive. It's just obviously not for you, that's fine, if you don't like it, you don't have to watch just because 50 says so.

Silva is old, but so is Vit, Bernard, Lewis was what, 37 or something when he retired.

Alot of the guys have less talent than most top boxers, but I often see boxing matches with guys throwing like amatuers. In every sport there is a hiarchy and that's reflected in the talent pool. Some fights are great, some suck.

mma's ok to watch, it's just not boxing

UFC is like a blunt instrument to boxing's scalpel. There's more subtlety and nuance to boxing than there is in MMA.

I don't understand the strong dislike, they aren't as salty on major MMA Forums.

I believe it has more to do with The State of The Game than the actual Sport that is MMA. That, and acting like a child not getting any attention.

UFC > boxing in terms of putting on a stacked crowd.

Everything that 50 cent says we should accept as truth.

50 has a better chance promoting mma than boxing imo

I watch any combat sport , more kick boxing then mma but if by choice boxing all day everyday, no way you become a top boxing contender falling off the street and having a go training for a year or so,. I seen good kick boxers get in the ring with jorneymen boxers and get there lights turned out quick, yet known for there chins in kickboxing unreal how big the gap is in punching skill and defense.

Not my cup of tea. Sometimes I'll watch with some friends, but all the rolling around on the ground just doesn't excite me.

I like MMA but the statement makes no sense. Why should a boxing fan like MMA?

That's like saying if your a rugby league fan you should like Rugby Union.

They are different sports and its different strokes for different folks.

Also all this stacked card nonsense I hear is BS. The UFC puts on some damn awful cards. Not every event is stacked at all.

Likewise. I enjoy many of the heavyweight fights but most of the others bore the hell out of me.

Do you really think these fighters enter MMA with no combat experience? Do you think you can become a top Contender in say Tae Kwon Do within a year?? Think about your saying, as Boxing is the art of throwing hands, your making zero sense.
