Now that might be somewhat closer to the truth. I don't know why people react to Max Kellerman being a higher earner than most boxers? Forget Max Kellerman, boxing commentators in generall on big networks make more than 99% of active boxers, as boxers generally does not get paid enough to sustain a living.
There are some dumb ****ing people that don't pay their mortgages and blame wall street as well. It was Greed from Wall Street and Greed from most of the average citizen constantly looking for a bailout.
Kellerman has been doing sports talk for a while too. He has a morning radio show. So HBO isn't his only gig.

The most important question? How the **** did a young guy like Kellerman with no deep attachment to boxing or media end up as a tenured commentator? Speak about shady. Guy never paid his dues.
He's been around boxing circles for what seems like forever. When he was put on HBO the general consensus was that he deserved the job.
Actually, he did work his way up (from cable access to ESPN to FSN to a larger role at ESPN to HBO in an originally smaller capacity and now in the big seat) - and he's followed boxing his entire life, more closely than probably 98% of this forum's users.
Well the good news is that since these guys are making way more than we thought, that means that Roy Jones should be okay eventually because he must be making at least half of what they are.
