Gavin Rees mentioned on Coronation Street

Hello,

Did anyone hear Gavin Rees get a mention on Coronation Street the other night? I wonder if it was a little product placement to get his name known and exposure raised before the fight with Adrien Broner or is someone in the studio a fan of his? One of the characters in the soap had been fighting and another character mentioned Gavin Rees' name and the other asked who he was, the one character said he was \ had been British and European lightweight champion... or something similar, he failed to mention he was WBA 140lbs champ though.

 

LMAO damn how did I miss that? of all the boxers they could have mentioned after a punchup they mention Rees? what exactly did they say lol, I take it this was after the Nick Tilsley Peter Barlow war

I actually really wanna see how they shoehorned Gavins name in there lol
