How does your significant other feel about you being on boxing forums all the time?

My ex actually thought I was cheating on her by going on dating websites. Completely didn't believe me when I said it was boxing she didn't believe me and we argued about how untrustworthy I was and we consequently split up.

Incidentally I was cheating on her but not online, I'd pulled a few girls on a night out but she never knew about that so I think I can claim a moral victory here.

 

You know she's probably got an account on here, right?

My girlfriend doesn't really mind my interest in boxing, but sometimes if I'm awake before her (which is often) she'll waken to find me with the laptop on checking out the latest on this forum.

However, she detests my love for football (soccer, for you Americans). But that's not gonna change

 

I take her to the fights she enjoys it too. I work my ass off ain't nobody going to tell me anything in my house especially. I just watch a movie or lifetime channel with her, **** her brains out, then back to esb. I don't have to watch no lifetime channel, but just cuz I'm nice. I was surprised at some ****ed up shows they have there.

 

She's fine with it, although I'm on far more at work than at home. Every now and then makes a comment about me writing an essay when she hears me typing responses. Watches some fights with me and knows a few boxers and news about them.. Don't think I'd get her to go to a live event unless it was Mayweather, and his once a year ass always announces his fight AFTER I have vacation planned for the year. :verysad

She's gotten over me and football. Sunday's she just does her own thing around the house.
