That fight has to be doable.

 

I expect Frank has dug up a corpse with a name, someone like David Diaz, Casamayor or maybe Barrera.

Abril is to fight Bogere in next few months. Should of happened a little while ago but injury forced it to be postponed.

Vasquez is a doable fight, It's whether Morrison and Frank are happy with Vasquez as a opponent. I don't think he brings much fan fare for a unification fight from casuals but i think it would sell out the arena because they can build it as the man who beat Prescott after he beat Khan and they can say how many defences he's had and he's Mexican .

I'd say Arum would want a bit more then that to prize him over. Still would get him over. But also it's one of those fights where Vasquez style may stink the joint out and make Ricky look bad. So his handlers have to be careful because in a way this could be hardest fight of the lot at 135lbs.

But i want it, I like the fight i really do from a technical and tactical standpoint. May be a snoozefest but i be honest i quite enjoyed the Quintero fight because i was just watching the tactical battle.

It's me Ricky's fighting. The contracts has been signed and we are to fight in Glasgow. It's the new WBO Hardcore Title which is based on the WWF Hardcore title days when you fight anywhere, anytime as long as you got a ref.

I'm planning to act him on shift in sports shop, I think i can catch him off guard in trainers section and pummell him to ground. My trunks will have ESB on them. I know you guys can't stand Ricky's shift and i'm about the punish him for that one day a week..

 

The clever move is simply to get someone better than Rees. Admittedly the available options are limited but that would give them the bargaining power they need to make the Broner fight.

Although aside from Vasquez I'm not sure who that person is. Can't be Demarco as they'd say that Broner ruined him.

What about Ji-Hoon Kim in America? (any fight in America regardless of opposition seemingly constitutes a 'big fight' for BN/VVarren...)

Hmm Kim did lose to Beltran recently say maybe Beltran instead as he's on a tidy run of form of late.

Only fight i would class as big would be Vasquez.

 

Lets not get ahead of ourselves but a Vazquez fight would be a much more difficult proposition for Burns I think. He doesnt seem to struggle against brawlers but he might against someone with guile and boxing ability. I think that Vazquez beats Broner thats why he hasnt been calling him out.

 

I agree Ice, I think Vasquez forces Ricky to fight and approach fight in different manner. He's a guy you've got to be patient with and be willing to take time to break down. He preys on openings and lapses of concentration and gets into fighters heads. He frustrates them and lets be honest i can't see many or any fighter looking good against him.

I think him vs anyone at 135lbs you've got a tough fight to call. I do think Burns and Broner can beat him though. I saw weaknesses in him against Quintero. He's there to be had but going to take a world class display to take his title away. He's no mans fool that's for sure..

Coming off two pretty savage losses, one to a bloke Burns just KO'd and a proper hiding from Rios.

Although Burn's blinded Scottish fans would probably lap it up regardless.

At this rate I said, so if that was his february/march fight id be satisfied after all the nonsense we've had till now. But on the caveat that he gets and takes a big fight in summer
