Did Vitali ruin Adamek?

Did Adamek bite of more than he can chew when he faced Dr ironfist? Watching the second Cunningham fight i have to say he is pretty much shot...Coming in at 233lbs is just ridiculous!

No way was that the same Adamek that battered Banks and Cunningham from pillar to post below 200lbs, the same guy who schooled Grant and fought his heart out against Arreola!

I have the feeling Adamek is only fighting for the paycheck nowadays and struggles to get motivated even for basic conditioning! Don't get me wrong, i don't think he was ever destined to be a great HW but a nice edition to the division when he was on form none the less!

Vitali hasnt looked the same since that fight & Adamek has never impressed me at heavyweight

Age is ruining Vitali slowly! Remarkable that he is still on top at 42...

 

Adamek's gone downhill since the Vitali fight, his trainer also isn't helping, trying to teach a European an American boxing style, and the weight he gained that was supposed to make him stronger has made it worse.. to me his punches have lost all the sting that made Arreola's face a battered mess

 

adamek has also never impressed me at heavyweight is he in now trying to make as much money as he can before he retires of course he is

He probably actually fought Cunningham near the 240lb mark! Ridiculous...

 

A long, tough career and then moving to HW where he doesn't belong ruined Adamek.

Never looked any good at HW to me, he doesn't handle the weight well at all

Doesn't have any power and sacrified what speed he has, plus he doesn't seem to be able to take a punch above 200lbs

His list of opponents he's fought and beat at HW is also pretty shocking, and he hasn't looked overly impressive in any of them

 

He deserves credit for this win considering VK is the only other man to defeat the mexican:

Chris Arreola hasn't fought anybody worth mentioning aside from those two, that's why. He refuses to fight any decent opposition because he is going to be gifted the belt as a vacant when Vitali retires.

 

Adamek fought Cunningham at 223lbs don't know where you are all getting 233lbs and 240lbs from.

 

Thought it was 233?
