Dude, get a grip, find a clue, or STFU.

Chef is an important member of team Klitschko, and we're very lucky to have him here on ESB. (even if I don't always agree with him.)

On the other hand, if YOU were to leave, I doubt anyone would notice.

I'm sorry Rico, but that is complete and utter bull****. What you should have said is you're not going KO Haye in that style by fighting as a 1-2 fighter who ties up as soon as they throw a power shot.

In their fight Wlad was doing a great job of cutting the ring of behind the jab and trapping Haye against the ropes, he was doing this better than I've ever seen him. The problem is, Wlad only throws a jab and possibly one right hand and as soon as he was done he looks to tie up and lean on his opponent, which is when Haye flopped to the floor to avoid having a 240lb man leaning all his weight down on his back.

Unless you land the perfect shot you're not going to KO a fighter fighting like Haye did by throwing one solid shot then tying them up. If you know you only have to look out for two punches, both straight and down the middle then as long as you have the reflexes it's easy to avoid them. He was just too predictable and too cautious - close the distance with the jab and feints, pin him against the ropes, throw a right hand, tie up and lean. No hooks, no uppercuts, no body shots . . . Haye was so concentrated on evading the shots that once he evaded one he was never in position to fire back a counter with any pop on it, more often that not he was square on. This is the perfect time to let your hands go a bit without risk of getting anything back, he might slip the first jab and right hand, but he won't evade them all - go to the body, throw a combination. But he didn't, he threw the first two and tied up.

Because of Wlad's fast feet, when Haye did attack he looked like a reckless amateur falling in and leaving himself off balance and defenseless - but despite being out of danger and in position to jump on his vulnerable opponent Wlad never once capitalised on this. He was happy to get out of harms way, reset and then come forward behind the jab again.

And I'm not criticising Wlad for that, he was wary of Haye's power and was happy to get the win without taking any unnecessary risks. But to pretend there was simply nothing outside of turning into Tyson or Marciano that a fighter could have done to KO Haye in that fight is ****ing laughable. Wlad fought as cautious of a fight as I've seen him fight and the same goes for Haye - the result was what we all saw.

I don't know if it's because you can't criticise your beloved Klitschkos, if it's because you hate David Haye or simply because you DKSAB - but that was an appalling post.

I didn't say it was, but it take a little bit more than come forward, 1-2, tie up and lean.

I'll say this - think of the difference between Wlad and Vitali's defence. Wlad backs up out of danger quickly using his feet. Vitali leans his upper body backwards to evade shots, but his feet don't move too much meaning he is still in position to capitalise is his opponent leaves himself open. If Haye attacks like an amateur like against Wlad, Vitali would be well placed to get shots off on him while he's off balance and defenseless.

This is just ridiculous and shows just how much **** you talk. For a start, the back peddling wasn't a problem at all considering Wlad had Haye pinned againts the ropes for the majority of the fight.

Secondly all of the flopping to the canvass came once Wlad had tied Haye up and was leaning down on him, as he does in every fight. Now, with this in mind please do tell me how this actually prevented Wlad from doing anything offensive considering? So Wlad has thrown a shot or two, tied Haye up and leant on him - what was he going to do here exactly? Because in every Wlad fight I've seen this is where the ref breaks the fight up and Wlad comes back behind the jab.

Determining whether you have addiction isn’t completely straightforward. And admitting it isn’t easy, largely because of the stigma and shame associated with addiction. But acknowledging the problem is the first step toward recovery.

A “yes” answer to any of the following three questions suggests you might have a problem with addiction and should — at the very least — consult a health care provider for further evaluation and guidance.

    - Do you use more of the substance or engage in the behavior more often than in the past?

    - Do you have withdrawal symptoms when you don’t have the substance or engage in the behavior?

    - Have you ever lied to anyone about your use of the substance or extent of your behavior?

    I don't think you do.

    Get it, that is.

The point of my entire post was that while Haye didn't 'deserve' (I think I used the quotes in the earlier post as well) the shot, the fight should still be made.

It was, in many respects, in rebutal to those who don't want to see the bout get signed on account of Haye not 'deserving' the shot.

    Get it now ?
