    i think dempsey gets inside of Ali, he has the heart of a lion, he also has power, i think it would be like a fraizer ali type of fight. Ali would probably win but i think itll be close.

    Ali by dec but Dempsey would have his moments with his left hook, the punch which Ali was vulnerable to.

    I bet on Ali knocking out Dempsey.

    Yea, Ali was vulnerable to the left hook.
    But I think OP meant prime Ali and not the one that faced Cooper.

    Ali might have been "easy" to put down, but how fast he could get up again is just crazy.

    On paper a great fight. I think it would either be a great fight or else disappointingly one-sided for Ali.

    Dempsey gets knocked out, he might be stronger "punch vs punch".
    But Ali has a very good offense, very good resistance to body blows, very good chin, extremely good at recuperating, good stamina, very good handspeed, reach advantage, weight advantage.
