I dont get excited for fights anymore unless I see the pres conf. for it. Still though its good news at least. At least there is now political pressure for Garcia to fight Matthysse.
I doubt Haymon is enthused, but I also doubt Garcia is afraid of anyone, and I think if Garcia pushs for the bout then Haymon would relent and make the match.
i think garcia will push 4 a rios fight.an rios already said he wants garcia. so maybe golden boy will wanna go head to head with top rank and do buisness just to keep there guys in lucas an garcia fighting seperate fighters but eventually if keep winning they will have to meet. dont get me wrong tho i would love to see this fight ..but rios vs lucas or rios vs garcia is great as well
I don't know what Garcia is yet, I think Matthysee would win, after the Zab fight I'll have a better idea of what he is. But I have a feeling even if Garcia beat Judah, Matthysee and Khan he still won't get his respect.
Great for Boxing. Hard to see it make sense for Garcia as a businessman. As a Boxing fan I would love to see this fight. Don't think it will happen until Lucas brings more to the table. (Time to find some Mexican roots!)
Being a lesser skilled Boxer doesn't always mean you are any less dangerous. The guy has TNT in those fists and quality defense. If he can just rev that motor up sooner he would be a beast.
In all likelyhood Garcia will completely demolish Judah and encourage his handlers to take this fight. At least i hope so. It would look good on GBP´s part as well. They dont always protect every potentially big fighter. Remember that Khan was thrown in there with Maidana.
