Lets hope so, that would be a war. it looks like katsidis wants that fight, but tomilson doesn't seem to want it at this stage. Hopefully it happens before katsidis has nothing left at all.
Katsidis deserves to fight whoever he wants, he is a true warrior of the sport, it would have been great to see him on the Mundine Geale undercard.
Opponent is Filipino Weng Haya http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=363075&cat=boxer. Promoter wants the fight at the top in schedule, so I'll reinsert it tomorrow around this time, allowing system auto clean up
**** mate there's easy and then there's this................ surely he can find someone a little better than this. It will be a punching session
I remember watching Haya giving Salido hell in late 2011. Had him down & hurt badly multiple times. Katsidis weight & power should be the difference.
General Match making rule never take notice of a Filipinos record. Look closer at who he's fought they get matched hard over there. And of course actually watch a couple of his recent fight. That will do me dropping Salido even though only a feather a very hard man. Good first fight back for Mick as you said kegs the weight will be telling factor.
Mate watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXm3Ptf2YGc and also round 4 and take a look at Salido's record since. Not like he has 'slid'... Since fighting Haya, Salido is since ranked '1' by boxrec in his weight class and easliy beat Juan Manuel Lopez. No one is saying its an extremely difficult opponent, but your statement isn't exactly valid either.
