    Khan has only shown tendencies to gas after 6 rounds when in with people who put a lot of pressure on him (Peterson and Maidana). Is Burns the man to do that? I don’t think so. When the pace is slowed down and he’s in with a good boxer, Khan tends to pace himself more sensibly and generally performs better (Malignaggi, Judah, etc). Burns has good timing and ok pop, and so I wouldn’t be surprised if he hurts Khan’s brittle chin, but this fight depends a lot on which Khan decides to turn up. If he comes in like he did against Garcia and Peterson, I expect Ricky’s chances to increase. But if he successfully irons out those silly mistakes or at the very least walk in with the same mindset he did against Molina -- a patient, safety-first approach -- then Khan could make it a relatively easy night. And that’s not because Khan’s that good, it’s just because Ricky isn’t. He too gets proper overrated, let's not forget.

    Compared to who? Khan?
    I forgot that Peterson and Garcia were at 1 and 2 on the P4P list.
    I haven't said anywhere here that Burns would beat Khan,but some of the statements on the matter have been a tad ridiculous.
    I'm just going to re-read Rico's post as you can usually count on him for a bit of common sense.

    pressure and power are 2 things you need to beat khan burns has neither, he's a solid fighter whos educated in the game, i don't rate khan highly but wouldn't be at all surprised if he stops burns in a 1 sided fight.
    khan doesn't have KO power, but he can scratch up his opponents face quite bad and over 12 rounds if he keeps on popping his jab and throwing rights rickys face would look a mess, and billy nelson would pull him out just liked he pulled willie limond out all those years ago.

    Khan when he's in mid flap, is as open as Kerry Katona's legs, he will get sparked.

    Gis a job then Bill! I'll be your apprentice before you retire. I can learn from one of the best trainers in the UK, day in day out, I'll sacrifice where I live now and always have done, and I'll move all the way to Scotland to achieve my dream. :good

    Garcia ain't great, but he's rightfully ranked number one in his division by most, including the ring magazine ratings which the Burns acolytes were so keen to reference when incorrectly claiming that Roman Martinez was the number one super-feather going into his bout with Ricky.

    And unless gloves-up upright Rick is going to stalk Khan around the ring, (doubtful), that comparison is moot.

    Agreed. Here's some of the most ridiculous.

    Oh yeah - are you still trying to claim that Moses and Katsidis were world champions? Because they weren't.

    I'm being serious, there is nothing down here for me anymore. No chances, no opportunity, no dream.

    I'd do you proud Bill. I can be the brain child of Billy Nelson. I think you would be glad that you gave a lad a chance to achieve his dream. A shot to make it.

    Waddya say? :hey

    As you can see from the above, Moses won his 'regular' strap whilst Nate Campbell held the actual title. After Campbell moved up to 140lbs, the WBA decided to make the winner of the JMM - Diaz bout the 'Super' champ, meaning Moses was still merely a 'regular champ'.

    Finally JMM defended his unified lightweight title in July 2010 - two months after Moses had lost his 'regular' strap to Acosta. So in short, Moses never managed to legitimise his reign - he was never a bonafide champ.

    Where did I ever claim that Katsidis was a world champion?

    I remember some claim about Moses not being a champion,but I tend to go along with things like this;

    https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&r...-bKoTHhjyGVXu8TeT4TIQ&bvm=bv.1357700187,d.d2k

    or this;

    Only going on what I see,but feel free to prove me wrong on that one as I'm not claiming to know anything other than what I read.

    I accept your apology regarding Katsidis though.I've never said he was a full champ of any governing body.
