What is next for Bradley?

Arum said yesterday that Bradley would likely return March 16 at Mandalay Bay.

It sucks for Bradley since all of the good opponents are with Golden Boy. Rios is likely tied up with the Alvarado rematch. Peterson and Holt are signed up. Marquez won't fight him.

Perhaps signing with Top Rank was short-sighted after all.

 

His image took a enormous hit "beating" Pac, so it might be smart to go back down drop the belt and create some goodwill at 140 again.

A JMM fight would be nice.

 

Arum needs to offer Golden Boy some money and get either Maidana or Malignaggi. Both are sellable and solid stay-busy fights since nothing big is on the horizon.

Anyway, as soon as he pulled out of the Khan fight, I said right there and then that he was making a massive mistake chasing the Pac fight. What did he rake in against him - 5 or 6 million? Coupled with his inactivity and shitty fight against Casamayor, you have to wonder if it really was worth it compared to:

• A pretty decent payday with Khan
• Joining GBP to gain access to decent opponents. Two fights after beating Khan, at the very least, he would have had with them by now. All whilst recieving much better promotion from them, too.
• Sitting in pole position to face Mayweather on May 4th.

That all combined is far more lucrative than what Arum's given him - a cursed gift against Pacquiao. I say cursed because since then, through little fault of his own, his reputation has been tarnished and very few people are interested in fighting him.

 

Is it true that he really lost his last fight and his promoter put him on ice?

 

The next thing i would like Bradley to do is man up and just admit he lost his last fight . show some integrity .

Yeah, when it's all said and done, the big payday may not compensate for the loss in revenue from the fights that could have been and the opportunities that would have opened up. I always said that waiting out for the big fight was not the noblest move; you get to the top by earning your way there. Bradley could have made a lot of noise and made himself a more naturally prime opponent for either Floyd or Manny, but at least he'd have the option and a few million already in the bank before jumping on either boat.

Agree he lost but not complaining as I won 20quid on it,but at the same odds would have backed him in a return.Also would back him against Marquez,Stevie.
