If Margarit was not with Top Rank, he could've been apart of the long list of fighters who got schooled but Mayweather. But Arum doesn't want to put his superstars in with Floyd. Read son,read..Arum is the reason the fight did not happen..he even said floyd would have taken the fight but he did not want to make the Oscar fight or the hatton or the cotto fight for the money floyd wanted...so he left and made all those fights without Arum for more money....educate yourself son

I think the honest answer is at that point in their respective careers no; A) Margarito is with Top Rank and Floyd and Arum won't work together. B) Margarito is a proven cheat and I don't think Floyd liked what he did to Cotto.

It's pretty obvious earlier in their careers what happened.....to anyone who isnt a hater!

 

Well Floyd beat the guy who stopped Margo so I think he would have had no problems fighting Margo.

Margo was shot since Mosley anyways so it is all a moot point.

 

IMO until he beat Cotto he never deserved a fight with Mayweather anyways. His resume was full of cab drivers and Kermit ****in Cintron. Then the Mosley fight happened and the whole world saw he was just another C class brawler. Mayweather then clowned Mosley....
