Rigo has only fought 12 times and is already a world champion. What does he have to prove? Also, Rigo has beat Mares already.... Check his amateur record, particularly tournaments such as the Olympics and World Championships and rephrase what you have written :patsch

Did Mares fight under a different name? Don't pull this amateur bullcrap. If you don't know the difference please don't post here. :-(

Wow you are stupid.... It was in the amateurs. Do you think the sport of boxing is just people without headgear punching eachother? Google the Pan American Games 2003, particularly the bantamweight final. Then come back and tell me who doesn't know. :patsch

Or ideally go here http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Guillermo_Rigondeaux_Ortiz and press CTRL + F and type in Mares :good

Amateur is amatuer, pro is pro. Tyson lost to Tillman in the amateurs and then Tyson destroyed Tillman in the pros.

The difference is Mares would not destroy Rigo what so ever... Mares and Donaire are avoiding Rigo for a reason.

Boxing - The sport or practice of fighting with the fists, esp. with padded gloves in a roped square ring according to prescribed rules. In the sport of boxing Rigo has already beaten Mares. :good If only people who constantly share opinion actually knew what they were talking about. :patsch

He aint fighting Mares unless Mares goes to Top Rank... How did Mosley get Pac? Now what did Arum say about Mares' contract with GBP ending, and getting a fight? Not rocket science here folks!

Arum:"If Abner wants Donaire, Wait Out Contract with GBP"

I don't see the people defending in here defending in that thread.. Wonder why?

Mares may not destroy Rigo but it would certainly be Rigo's biggest test. Pile in the low blows and corrupt ref and I'd almost guarantee a Rigo loss.
