Why is hamed not in the Hall of fame?

    I've always felt his ridiculous behaviour/posturing at the MAB fight added to the fact that the HOF is New York state might have something to do with it.
    And whilst I feel less deserving fighters have got in and issues like the one I mentioned should have no bearing,he was an absolute **** that night.

    A good assessment I think.He had some really good wins,good TV,but when it came to the career defining fight,fell well short,albeit against a no doubt hall of famer.Didnt think he could win IMO.No excuses,never would have beat him.
    But,HOF in the future.

    cuz he is not hall of famer the guy had hof ability but not hof drive an resolve a true great comes back after that loss mab a shows what hype was about he had good win vs kevin kelly decent win augie sanchezbut resume not exactly littered with quailty wins

    One of the greatest boxers of the last 30 years.


    He was a massive fav to beat Barrera, didn't train for him etc etc.

    At his best and motivated he would have KOed Barrera.

    Anyone who thinks he does not deserve to be in the hall of fame....don't know **** about boxing.
