Hamed's star burnt so quickly. No career defining win, and a complete disappearing act when he called it quits. Add in that he was an arrogant ass and to many it was more "good riddance" than "goodbye."

That said, he will likely eventually get in. Love him or (mostly) hate him, he was must watch TV.

He'll be in. What a waste. Even MAB was pushing him on to continue his career as they became friends afterwards. Hamed made alot of,$$$ tho esp for a featherweight. He was avging what, like 1 million a fight? MAB was masterful that night, nobody expected a rapidfire counterpuncher that night.

Hamed couldn't touch Gatti for skill?
Gatti was a competent boxer who is misjudged as nothing but a face-first warrior, but whatever you think of Hamed he had outrageous skills that might have been very unconventional, but were the sort of thing you can't teach.
I have no issue with the bit about heart but you make it sound a bit skewed IMO.
    And let's be clear,that's all it is.My opinion.:good

There is only around seven or eight fighters from the UK in the hof period. That's bad on it's on, so why would a slot be wasted on Hamed.
