Fair comment. I'm sure he's on the verge of big purses from huge fights whilst gaining the exposure his ability deserves.

Vasquez can't be that expensive. I think he's with Arum but he's not a headliner but could become one if he unifies. Arum might think **** it he either stays on undercards or rolls the dice and might become more sellable.

One thing's for sure, if it is Vasquez someone needs to order a lot of humble pie.

 

TBH after the amount of crap spewed to belittle Demarco as a fighter i don't want to see same posters make out it's a good defence of title because some have basically trashed the guy as someone who was poor champion. If that's the case Burns should be going after the main 3 of Broner, Vasquez and Abril and TBH he should be.

Demarco could be a broken man after the beating Broner put on him. Sorry but it's not the big fight i wanted for Burns. It's not the unification fight i wanted for the lad but it's a world level fight but against a fighter who could be mentally broken but could also be bang up for it either way though i wanted a champion not a challenger for Burns.

They said on the Boxnation international commentary that the non-title bout with Quintero only earned Vasquez around $28k before the vultures,so surely he'd come for the best chunk of £200k?

This is the one I really want as a marker for Broner.

 

It was even worse in the General skills.Classic case of Monday morning Quarterbacks.And it was the same with Vasquez before Quintero.
Vasquez was #1 before Quintero,then almost forgotten,whilst many people with vested interests said DeMarco was the best out there for Broner to take the crown from.
He was an average fighter who could be outboxed pretty easily.His resiliance and power where his main assets.
For me,it's only a good fight because I just want to see Ricky fight someone that will make people pay attention if he does well.

 

Hes available....If Frank throws enough cash at the situation anything can happen. Its a difficult fight for Burns, more so than a Broner fight I think
