LOL @ JMP trying to anonymously stroll through and cast a vote without saying a word.

Tiliang hasn't shown up yet for you to be done with this thread, bro.

Based on the pictures posted, it just shows that Pea (apart from being more skilled) has much more balls than Floyd, since Floyd wouldn't even fight lesser fighters than the one that is with Pea in that photo. :deal

    Vs

Most people picked Sweet Pea because he came to boxing with that difficult style to deal with before Floyd. In other words, he's the original.

No I think it's because Whitaker was better.

Floyds talent lends itself to greater longevity. But Pea was better at his peak. Much is made of Floyds "linear" style but he truly does fight his best off of the ropes and alot of it is him baiting his opponent into over comitting.

However pea was a little more fluid and whole averaging nearly double Floyds output at welterweight was still able to make his opponent miss at nearly the same rate

Chavez could cut Usain Bolt off on a football field and he couldn't cut the Ring off against Pea.

That says it all his footwork is only matched by a few in the history of the sport

So for the longer career if take floyd. But overall and at their peak? Pea

Yeah, that was great stuff MW.

There's a lot less vitriol in this thread than the Duran one. Won't go 32 pages.

Generational gap probably. In 20 years all probably be on here taking to task all the young ruffians saying the next big thing is more skilled than Mayweather.
