Because, although both have played hard ball, I think they both do want the fight. I do not legitimately believe either one is scared of each other, and think the fight would have happened if Bob Arum wasn't in the picture. I do not think either has legitimately ducked one another.
I aint trying to troll you, I just think most people will say over the last 6 years he changed and took no risks, I actually turned on Pacquiao cause of Hatton and Margarito scrap fights
Evander mostly, who hasn't he fought..., i mean c'mon 205 pounds to fight Riddick Bowe 6'5 235 and Evander was built like crazy and still only 205 and really just a cruiser..
Lennox is like Ray Leonard wait to fight a fighter you cant believe you can beat until theyre all washed up or just over the hill
Lennox had a good resume imo and didn't try and wait anyone out like Leonard did with Hagler (Leonard also fought and beat Hearns fairly when both were at their best.) Neither Lennox nor Leonard are like Floyd or Calzaghe in that regard. Lennox got almost everyone at the times when he could get them. He couldn't get a prime Tyson because he was still in the Olympics and the amateur scene while Prime Tyson was destroying everything, and a post-prison, past-prime Tyson dropped the WBC belt rather than defend against Lewis, much as Riddick Bowe had done beforehand. Lennox couldn't fight a prime Holyfield because Holyfield was fighting Bowe at the time, and then Lennox got KO'd by McCall, Holyfield lost to Moorer/left the sport/began rebuilding at the same time as Lennox was. The only real challenges in his time that Lennox missed out on were Ike Ibeabuchi (not Lennox's fault because Ike got thrown in jail), old Foreman, Bowe, and arguably Wlad/Corrie Sanders (I believe he was supposed to fight Wlad after he got by Sanders, then Sanders screwed that up and Lennox didn't fight him; I also think Sanders was intended to challenge Lennox in South Africa in 2001 after the Rahman fight, but Rahman winning scrambled that plan as well.) Otherwise, he fought and beat everyone available to him as soon as he could get them (I'm not British by the way, but I don't think Lennox tried to wait anyone out.)
froch, ward, wlad, Dawson, Johnson, Hopkins, Martinez, cotto, Garcia, Marquez, broner, salido, donaire. all of those belt holders (special mention fir glencoffe) have shown they're willing to take on anyone to date.
It has to be Floyd: He fought a lineal in Baldi, fought a young horse in Ortiz, fought a not shot to **** Cotto. Has to be Floyd.
Holyfield and Toney are the ultimates for me. They'd both fight a klitchko even now, given the opportunity.
Pacquiao quite clearly ducked Mosley when he was the man at WW after beating Margarito, even Roach said Shane was too good.
I agree here. Floyd and Pac got derailed because of ego or arum or whatever I don't care but I think both thought they could win. Pac wouldn't touch Mosley with a barge pole even if Mosley drained to 140. That **** was embarassing.
