most would agree canelo is a huge threat to him. im dying to see this fight. martinez is 37 and too big for floyd

if they fought at 154, it would be a good fight. but, people will shite on floyd for making serg go down in weight

truth is serg is close to 180 when he aint fighting

i could care less if pac-floyd ever happens. this is the fight i want to see

Canelo needs to beat trout to make the mayweather fight bigger. I hope it happens

It's unfortunate but come fight time this is what they will say.

Im just glad Mayweather is fighting Canelo it will shut a few (not all) haters up even if just for a little while.

If Canelo took on Trout on May 4th and won it would make the fight HUGE!

Im all for huge fights and will probably make the effort to go see the fight live in Vegas especially as its likely to be one of the last times we see Floyd fight.

It sure doesn't take Nostradamus to figure out the first part of that.

I'll give you due credit if you get the second part correct right after I get done throwing up. Why isn't GBP screwing TR here and putting in Lara so that the rematch with Martwhoever gets called off? I'm sure they could get it declared the mandatory defense.

You know, I will be a Canelo fan if he fights Trout before Floyd. Trout is a definete risk and doesn't bring much to the table, money wise. There are many easier fights out there against opponents he can look good against. If he takes the fight, it will prove that he is willing to fight the best no matter at what cost and that is exactly what boxing needs.

I think I'm fairly pleased then.

He is taking care or his mandatory opponent at ww and taking part in the unification fight everyone is clamouring for at lmw.

I don't really have any issue if this comes off. Sure there are many better fighters than the ghost and it won't be competitive but if Floyd wants to keep his ww championship it's the fight he has to make I guess.

It's a weird situation because he's a massive level above everyone at 147 and the only way for him to be realistically challenged is if he is undersized against guys like canelo, trout, Molina and Lara. But you can't seriously hold it against a guy wanting to remain champ in his natural weight class.

Yeah all in all this is a worthy schedule for the p4p number 1.
