Maybe it would have been intriguing if AA was still fighting at 160 (a little bit like the Floyd-Martinez fight) but it's way too late now. :hat

Floyd is a small welterweight, how can you ignore something so painfully obvious? In the ring he's given away 10-15lbs.

Up at 154 Oscar & Cotto were significantly heavier & look how Cotto was dwarfed by Trout, Floyd is a midget at light-middle.

Abraham is built like a tank, he might only be an inch taller than Floyd but he has to cut weight to make 168lb.

    Compared to who?

Floyd is not a small WW. Roberto Duran was a small WW. Hatton was a small WW. Marquez was a small WW. Why can't Floyd be the smaller man for a change? Explain that!

Floyd maybe a 'Smallish' LMW compared to some maybe but certainly not tiny, and besides im not suggesting he would have to fight @ 160, a catchweight would be attainable quite easily for him.

Abraham is a small MW. Give me some images like the ones i showed u (Abraham,Taylor and Direll) of floyd being dwarfed like that please!

    To who?

Oscar by 4lbs Cotto by 3. I **** that out.

He's looked decidedly more ineffective @ 168, he also looks very small against SMW'S! Abraham is a MW fighting larger men his performances support that fact.

The size is negligible no matter how hard you try to say otherwise. Being built like a tank proves nothing. This is boxing. I think you're just too scared to say Floyd would get banged the **** out. All this P4P bollocks...Where is the difference in size really:

To be honest, naturally, Floyd is a small welter, but not when he's on TRT. And he's on TRT.

THat's all there is to it.

I don't really get why Duran a small Welter but not Floyd.

Floyd against Ortiz weighed 150 lbs on fight night on HBO scales. That's what many Junior welter weights weigh on fight night.

Also weighed around 150 lbs for the WBC 30 day weigh in.

Abraham small in height but boxing is about weight and he is to big to even make Middle weight now.

Testosterone Replacement Therapy. It's legal in Vegas if you have a prescription.

    He's ON THAT ****.

I mean, I guess technically it's not cheating, but he should have an asterick by his name.

    6 lbs???

Floyd doesnt tend to weigh more than 150 lbs in the ring!!!

Abraham gets on the scales at 168!!!!

He prob weighs north of 170 in the ring

Contrary to what some are saying here, Abraham isnt a small SMW. Hes weighed in at more than 160, more times in his career than hes weighed at or below 160!
Look at his weigh in weights throughout his career. And those are just weigh in weights, who knows what he re-hydrates up to!

The guy was a beast at MW.

    Floyd is a small WW.

He was outweighed by 14 lbs against Ortiz in the ring!

Most welters are closer to 160 than 150 come fight night.
    Floyd struggles to break 150.

He walks around OUT of training 155-160!

As for LM,hes tiny, the guy doesnt even weigh near 154 on the scales when hes fully hydrated and fed!

Floyd is a small WW for the 24hour weigh in era. He began his career at 130 & currently walks around at about 150lbs. Most welterweights are much bigger, Ortiz was in the mid 160's in the ring vs Floyd.

He's never gone into the ring above the divisional limit, I doubt he's ever weighed 154lbs in his life.

Look at the size of Abrahams neck, back, shoulders & chest (no homo) He is a unit & was killing himself to make middleweight after a few years at the top.

Watch the fights & look at the ring weights. Oscar & Cotto have both rehydated close to 170 & Floyd still is the same size.

AA couldnt make 160 anymore but he isnt that small at 168, he probably outweighed Froch in the ring.

I havent given a prediction because its a silly thread based on the strange idea that Mayweather & Abraham are about the same size.
