Ortiz was a 'top WW' too.

Guerrero is a nobody, he has 0 chance - unless Floyd is beyond shot.

But wait till the hype / 24-7 starts, and people will get suckered into buying it.

Yes it is a mismatch, all Guerrero has for a claim is beating the goat hypejob Berto

Alvarez is a much better matchup.

cotto gave him problems. guerrero will do better than cotto. dont see how it is a mismatch. guerrero is actually a step up for him. but, yet again he is leaning towards guerrero instead of the more difficult canelo. not surprising at all. and people still say pac ducked him while floyd continues to take the easier fights in cotto and now guerrero. funny as shite

  7. It is and it would be a terribly boring fight. This is coming from a ghost fan so yeah. The only way it becomes entertaining is if Mayweather for some dumb reason decides to stay on the ropes all fight long WHICH will disappoint us all because we know he could have won if he wanted to by using his superior boxing skills. Just a bad matchup and now PPV worthy at all. First Mayweather PPV I will not purchase.

Floyd is ar past prime so I think this is a good fight. I have no doubt Floyd will win but who else can he fight? Martinez is just too big so it's never going to happen. Bradley fight won't happen, PAC just got flattened, he already schooled Marquez, khan is out of the picture, canelo is not ready, berto just lost.

    Mayweather's an undeniable strong favourite.

But Guerrero is a legit top 5 WW contender (the fact that such an opponent can be considered a 'mismatch' is actually a testament to where people hold Floyd in their eyes, like him or not).

Mayweather's also ageing, inactive and past prime.

A great fight? Don't think so. Should be interesting, even if its just to gauge where these fighters stand in the scheme of things.

Guerrero being a top 5 WW tells you just how weak 147lbs is today.

Floyd will win clearly, but mismatch may be too big of a word.

Back when Ariza's had those good PED's, then yeah Pac had a good chance.

But these shitty PED's that Pac has been on lately will see him get schooled BAD against Floyd.

The same Pacquiao that was KTFO inside 6 rounds by a slow, plodding 40 year old?

    Not likely.
