We all know it's a mismatch. But if he wants to keep his ww belt it's the fight he must take.

I'd prefer him to just move up to lmw and clean house there.

I do not "know" it's a mismatch. Ghost is the best challenge at WW. That's all I can ask for.

Also, what do you mean move up? Floyd's fought at LMW twice in his career and each time has weighed under the LMW limit. In fact, in Floyd's last fight, he fought Cotto at LMW. On fight night he weighed 151. In Pac's last fight at WW, he weighed 151 on fight night. It's interesting how only Floyd has pressure to fight much bigger guys.

Floyd's natural weight is 147. Any fights at 154 are him accepting a disadvantage.

You thougth that May vs Cotto was more a mismatch than the one vs Ortiz? I've read it was quite the opposite?

People will simply bash me for this one, but let's compare it to the Klitschko's. Except maybe for 2-4 boxers between 147-154 (Pac, Martinez, Canelo, if he beats Trout clear & maybe Bradley) basically all other fights are more or less mismatches. And for Canelo i think it's only the size, that could help him. I do think Martinez has the tools to trouble Mayweather.

That's coz Floyd is p4p number 1 and too good for his division.

He needs the disadvantage to be challenged atm.

Not that you'd understand that given your hero just got sparked by 40 year old man

WTF? Mismatch is a question for history. The only way we will find out if it is a mismatch is if they fight. Was Tyson/Douglas a mismatch? Guerrero earned his spot, in stunning fashion, and deserves to challenge for the belt.

Are you guys even Boxing fans?

****ing fan boy. youre the last person to be considered a boxing fan. this is a **** fight at best.

RG "earned" his shot by beating a guy that had just been beaten by a guy floyd just fought. stfu already
if floyd had any balls he would defend the title he now holds, instead of going back down in weight to fight a guy that has had over 30 fights at super featherweight and recently as 16 months ago :rofl:rofl

Guerrero is the man at weight and deserves his shot. He earned it. The RIGHT way. Unlike that Pac/Margarito BS fight.

You mean, suckered into buying it like all you clowns were buying Pac being anywhere near competitive with Mayweather? Doubtful.

Fan boy? You are a clueless clown. There are weight classes and rankings for a REASON. By any respectable standard of judgement this is a solid fight to make. Clowns like you aren't looking for a fight. You are looking for a "slaughter due to disadvantage". A clash that means nothing more to the history of The Sweet Science than "at some point size matters".

Guerrero would have been fighting Ortiz if Ortiz didn't get his chin cracked. That has crap to do with Guerrero. Berto wasn't blown out. Berto strongly contested that fight. Berto was a more than reasonable test for Guerrero.

Funny how a clown like you says this BS with such conviction, but had none of the same standards for that fraud Pac. Pac never defended his 154 pound (gift) strap. Pac was bested and didn't even rematch. Nobody called for Pacfraud to face Canelo, Martinez, or even Paul Williams, but Mayweather should? Then Pacfraud was exposed by being KTFO by a guy who Mayweather dominated and was fighting at 135. You clown. Your opinion holds no weight.

Guerrero is ring top 10 p4p, I've heard people adding Trout to list of people Floyd should face, this the stuff Floyd haters pull cause the same people would say Trout isn't Top 10, it's no win
    for Mayweather.

Guerrero is not more of a threat than Pacquiao, come on. People are really blinded by a dramatic loss against a different counter-punching style to the one Floyd employs. All of a sudden Guerrero is a bigger threat? No. Their offensive capabilities are not on the same level.
