That guy is more skilled than all of Broner's opponents so far. Hell, he looks like he could beat most of them right now.

Do these WSB fights count towards a pro record?
    Impressive showing by Loma.

The only problem is very few short southpaws have successful careers. The ones that have that I can think of off the top of my head had some very special attributes.

Whitaker, Pacquaio, to a certain extent, depending on who he's facing, Martinez.

Of course, Darchiyan had some succes, but certainly not on the level of Pacquaio and Whitaker.

Those guys are all athletic marvels.

Lomanchenko is in a tough position considering that he's a short southpaw because he'll always have to deal with distance between lead hands that will give his opponent more opportunities to hit him with something big on the way in.

    Anyway, he looks good though.

    Oh.

Yeah, he looked alright, but at same time that was only 5 rounds.

Can Lomenchenko keep up that level of intensity for 10 or 12 rounds? He may not have a choice, depending on the opponent.

Well, I guess you always have a choice, but it may signficantly decrease your chances of winning the fight.

    1) Lomachenko is a 5'7 130lber he isn't short. Its just because WSB only has five weighclasses so some of his opponents are going to be much bigger.

    2) Vasyl is an athletic marvel and is a more complete fighter especially on defense than everyone you name aside from Whitaker, yes including Pacquiao on defense.

    3) His style and attributes for defense with his reflexes, guard, headmovement, footwork and angles are about as well suited for getting inside without getting hit as you can possibly get.

Haven't seen someone with such good defense and head movement plus an aggressive style like lomachenko in a long time. He figures out his opponent then punishes the body to set up his head shots, definitely gonna be a world champion some day

Don't you think this is a little premature?

The pros are a different level. I don't see the same type of awe inspiring power and speed in him that Pacquaio possess nor the reflexes of Whitaker; however, this was his first professional fight, so much remains to be seen.

Still, I don't agree that he is as complete a fighter as Pacquaio or Whitaker. When those two guys step in the ring, everybody stops what they are doing and pays attention. They have that type of affect on viewers because they are such special tallents.

At this point, Lomenchenko is still a background fighter, or an undercard guy.

That doesn't mean he doesn't have potential though. I'm not sure he's as impressive as Gamboa though, when Gamboa first came on the professional scene, but at the same time, Gamboa was hardly impressive his last time out.

Hopefully, he tightens up his punching and starts knocking guys out, and then he'll become a star.

You're a ****ing idiot and you don't know what you're talking about on seemingly every subject you talk about. Pacquaio has never been a particularly good technical fighter, to say Vasyl needs to tighten up his punching and at the same time putting Pacquaio on the level of Whitaker.. you really don't know boxing at all.

Are you claiming DeMarco would stop Lomachenko? Broner wouldn't be able to stop Lomachenko, I think even right now Lomachenko could beat Broner. Lomachenko doesn't make mistakes and I can't say that about any other fighter, amateur or pro.
