Butt hurt about what, about Bute getting destroyed by Froch?

I am not Bute fan boy. I was extremely critical towards him when he was defending his ibf crown back in the day.

It is about getting facts straight and giving credit when it is due. :patsch

You uneducated kebab maker just failed, once again.

Mitchel and Dawson comes to mind (Dawson was considered top p4p).

Lemieux lost to a world champion contendor, who's been fighting against two world champion, at age 22. He KTFO and other guy, in one round, who fought against a world champion. Went toe to toe (I thought he won) against a former world champion. Lemieux had potentiel, he was knocking out guys à la Tyson for his weight. He is still only 24.

Mitchell on the other end got KO against nobody...

Dawson is nowhere nere is former p4p status. Pascal almost won every round against him.

Bute had nine title defense, won agaist a guy who gave Ward and Calzaghe one of their biggest chalenge. He lost his legs in the third round getting caught and then received the beating of his life.

So, Showtime signs Bute to a huge deal, begs the participants to allow him in as an alternate, but Dan G005EN threatens to pull Andre Ward out, and SUE Showtime for breach if all remaining participants are not in agreement about alternates.
Interbox could not promote in the US, so Showtime gives Bute 2 mil to fight in lieu of lost cash by fighting in Jokeland.

G005EN boycotts Bute entry while Hearn, Suaerland, and the other promoters all agree Bute can be used as alternate.

So, G0053N boycotts Bute from the s5, but somehow, Bute ducked the tournament b/c he was under contract with HBO.:rofl:rofl:rofl

yeah, Hopkins though that his stamina efficient strategy was gonna win him this fight. But boy was he wrong, you gotta fight. I think Taylor's best win was Kassim Ouma, lmao.

Dawson should be nowhere near this list. It's actually a joke to see some of the names here, and Bute shouldn't be on it yet either.
If he never beats a top class opponent or worse still, struggles even to beat the likes of Bika, then he has to get a mention and a big reason for that is the way many of his fans hyped him up.
Yes,he's been a solid belt holder, but he fell very short the first time he went in with a genuine top level opponent. Now given that many people said he was the #1 SMW and I even saw P4P lists with him at #5:yikes then if he never beats a real top level opponent, then he becomes a HOF hype job.
But it's far from certain yet.And he should move up and get some meat on those pins.
Hype jobs are often borne through promotion and TV exposure, but the reason a lot of people are enjoying Bute's current status is because of the way some of his fans babbled on about him.
I'd be happy to see the guy recover and have no problem with him avoiding the rematch as long as he goes onto fight more top class opponents.
And that's as much for his fans that I get on well with as it is him being a nice guy.
And it's high time all this drivel about Ward ducking him stopped.Ward wanted(and deserved) an easy hometown earner fight and Bute was perfectly entitled to look for parity at that stage as he was unbeaten and had a belt.It was about numbers and I accept Ward thought there were easier fights out there for a bigger share of the purse.
    But ducking? Meh!

No. Bute did beat some pretty good fighters, as opposed to guys like Chavez Jr., Audley Harrison, Panchito Bojado, Edison Miranda or even Andre Berto.

Take Lemieux into account, and he's not even the biggest hype job from Montreal.

    Of course.
And two scorecards of 106-103 show Pascal clearly won every round.:patsch
And the irony is,Dawson lost the fight yet I'm sure it was one of the few times he threw more punches than the opponent in a close fight.(Not entirely serious so keep your wigs on)
Pascal was in big trouble at the end.Not the first time a referee has been kind to a Montreal fighter in Montreal.
Chad was poor that night but he won at least four rounds. It was never a shut out.

Bute has lost a handful of rounds in his career, that is not hype, even if he rematches froch an loses, that does not make him hype, that just makes him about the number 4 168 fighter of his generation. Keep in mind that he was ducked by a lot of boxers...

yeah exactly. I was very sure sure, Pascal's tiredass was about to get stopped or at least get knocked down a few times, allowing Dawson to pull it out until the ref came in. And I still favor Chad in a rematch.
Really Chad has become anything but a hypejob. Nobody is really hyping him up. It's like when they call Bradley a hypejob.
