I have a friend with magical powers can he gave me the footage of the Golovkin - Rosado fight before it happen!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jz1Dut8Ysc

This is what is about to happen to Rosado. They put this highly experienced fighter in with a fighter a weight level below him with out an ametur record when there is numerous middle weights for him to fight like Chavez Jr. and Martinez. SMH

As much as I like Aleverz, they do the same thing with him, put him in the ring with undermatched little fighters. Has he fought a jr. welterweight yet?

Lou Dibella on Martinez fighting GGG:

Pirog backed out of the fight due to disc injury

    http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/i...-titlist-gennady-golovkin-serious-back-injury

Daniel Geale turned down the fight with Golovkin to fight Bumdine for a bigger payout

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Mundine

Quillin has also shown no interest in fighting GGG either.

Chavez Jr is out for a year's suspension.

    Get your ****ing facts straight.

Macklin or Barker would be good fights.

I agree either of those would be good, but of the ones mentioned by the poster, name Martinez and Chavez, those aren't happening, and it's not Golovkin's fault.

I would really like to see Macklin vs Golovkin though, I agree.

Funny how idiots here ESB managed to turn it like Golovkin is the one actually who is "avoiding these match ups".

Hey ***** Boy, I think you missed the point! I hate when A or B level fighters, padded their records with C level fighters in smaller weight classes. The fact that these other fighters are turning down fights with him hurts fights. Golovkin is a middle weight, you mean to tell me he can't find one middle weight to fight in the world so he had to get a C-level Jr. Middle weight without an amateur career to fight?

Here is a list of middle weights he can fight
    -Sergio Gabriel Martinez
    -Daniel Geale
    Peter Quillin
    Felix Sturm
    Matthew Macklin
    Dmitry Pirog
    Martin Murray
    Andy Lee
    Darren barker
    N'Jikam
    Andrade

Look here ***** boy, try to be a little bit more respectful in your comments, one day somebody gone beat yo ass *****!

On paper Golovkin-Rosado is a dubious matchup, but if you consider the entertainment value it could be a fun fight to watch for as long as it lasts.

Sad fight? I feel the number of rounds that Rosado lasts will determine that.

1st round KO - indeed sad matchup. Rosado should try a different career.
2-4 rounds - poor matchup. Rosado is back in the long line of would-be contenders.
5 rounds - hey! He lasted as long as Proksa! And Proksa is a top 10 MW. Rosado gets more respect and another network shot eventually.
6-10 rounds - at this points it is Golovkin's rep that starts to lose its shine. It is hard to be presented as 'boxing's best kept secret' with dynamite fists when you can not KO a guy with little chin or defense that fights right in your range.
10 rounds + : he lasted as long as Ouma! No one has ever gone more than 10 rounds against Golovkin. Massive respect for Rosado. Golovkins HBO status under threat. In the long run this could be an advantage - some decent MW might actually try to fight him.

He's already answered half of those. DiBella has ruled out Martinez, Geale chose to fight Mundine instead, Quillin doesn't want the fight, Sturm and N'Jikam both blatantly ducked him, Pirog pulled out of their scheduled bout with an injury, Murray is fighting Martinez, Andy Lee is coming off a KO loss, Barker is rebuilding his career after being out injured, Andrade is just a prospect who has beat nobody above journeyman level. Macklin would be great and is the only realistic option of the names you mentioned IMO.

Listen man, you thinking to hard....Are you saying that there is no middle weight in the world for him to fight right now? And also shame on those fighters that reject the fight?

Think about this, Alvarez is a Jr. Middle Weight and his last seven fights has been against welterweights or jr welterweights (Cintron, Mosley, Lopez, Gomez, Ryan Rhodes, Mathew Hatton, Ndou, Baldomir, Jose Cotto, and etc...)

    its bull **** man!

  10. It is a good fight. You'll be tuning in that night and after the first round you will be like "damn I was wrong, this is a good one.. im a ****en dumbazz"

Hey Low Blow Combos, this fight will look like people throwing as a lamb in a lion cage at the zoo. lol

  12. Nyahaha lol nahh!! Watch bro. I'm as big of a hater of the matchups in this sport sometimes but this is gonna be a good one.

Facts: Rosado is not as skilled as Triple G

BUT the will, the toughness and the circumstances which Rosado is fighting under will make him as big of a threat as he's being made out to be.

The fight against Angulo was a result of mistakes caused by inexperience. He has shown steady improvement from fight to fight and he is a very hard worker. Tough kid.

Watch this will be a barnburner. Could be a one sided barnburner ala Pacquiao-Margarito style but you will be entertained.

Of course there are MWs he could fight, just not any good ones. I don't think the Rosado fight is as bad as people are making out under the circumstances. Rosado is coming up in weight, but his size deficit vs Golovkin will be negligible. He's on a good run of form and has bags of heart. It's not ideal, but I'm sure it will be fun to watch, however long it lasts.

You're right that boxing sucks and that the great fight rarely get made. But it's not Golovkin's fault. Martinez wants no part of Golovkin or Pirog. When someone even mentions their names to him, you can just see the fear in his eyes as he quickly changes the subject.

Martinez is a complete fraud who stole the MW title from Pavlik in what I scored a draw, and has been milking his fake title by fighting undefeated bums. His only good win is over Chavez.

  15. Who has Golovkin fought that makes you guys thinks he is this MONSTER you all make him out to be? I'm looking at his resume and he hasn't been tested at all.
